How I handle your data when you visit this website or contact me.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

When you visit the website, the server automatically stores information your browser sends:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • page visited
  • previously visited page (referrer)
  • browser and operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is providing the website securely and reliably. The log files are deleted automatically after eight weeks. IONOS only stores IP addresses in shortened form.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

3. Contact by email

If you email me, I process your details (email address, name, message content) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your data is deleted once the request is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Emails are processed via IONOS. The data processing agreement from section 2 applies here as well.

4. Booking via Calendly

For bookings, I link to Calendly, a service of Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. The booking takes place on Calendly’s website. My website does not transmit any data unless you click the link.

Calendly’s privacy policy explains which data it processes. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Calendly is certified (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR).

5. LinkedIn

This website contains a plain link to my LinkedIn profile. No data is sent to LinkedIn unless you click it. After clicking, LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.

6. Fonts

The fonts on this website are loaded locally from my server. No connection is made to Google or any other provider.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools.

8. Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
